High Pressure with Increased Water Volume

Some jobs require more than pressure alone.

The larger 3" pump allows you to move more water while maintaining impressive discharge pressure, making it ideal for larger irrigation systems and higher-demand applications.

Perfect for:

Firefighting
High-pressure irrigation
Elevated water tanks
Long-distance water transfer
Rural properties
Livestock watering
Orchards
Vineyards

If you need greater flow without sacrificing pressure, the 3" model is the ideal choice.

Powerful 11HP Direct Injection Diesel Engine

The heavy-duty 11HP direct injection diesel engine delivers excellent torque, outstanding fuel economy and dependable performance in demanding environments.

For properties already operating diesel-powered tractors, generators and machinery, using one fuel across your equipment simplifies refuelling while reducing operating costs.

Diesel-powered pumps are also widely preferred for firefighting applications. Diesel fuel has a significantly higher flash point than petrol, making it less likely to ignite if exposed to external heat sources and providing additional confidence during emergency situations.

Features

Powerful 11HP direct injection diesel engine
Electric start with recoil backup
Fuel-efficient operation
Long running time
Bio Diesel compatible
Ideal for rural properties
Excellent choice for firefighting applications

Electric Start Convenience

Simply turn the key and get to work.

The electric start system makes starting quick and effortless, while the integrated fuel solenoid shut-off system allows the engine to be stopped directly from the key switch—eliminating the need for manual fuel shut-off and providing a more convenient operating experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's the difference between the 2", 3" and 4" models?

The 2" and 3" models are designed for high-pressure applications where water needs to travel long distances or reach higher elevations. The 4" model is a high-volume transfer pump, designed to move the greatest possible amount of water in the shortest amount of time. It's the ideal choice for dam transfers, irrigation and large-scale water movement.

Why is cast iron important?

The pump housing and impeller are the hardest-working parts of any water pump. Heavy-duty cast iron offers exceptional durability, wear resistance and long service life, making it the preferred material for professional agricultural and firefighting pumps.

Why choose a diesel water pump?

Diesel engines provide excellent torque, fuel economy and long operating times. They also simplify fuel management on farms where other machinery already runs on diesel. In addition, diesel fuel's higher flash point makes diesel-powered pumps a popular choice for many rural firefighting applications.

Is this pump suitable for firefighting?

Yes. The BBT 3" High Pressure Diesel Water Pump has been designed to provide high-pressure water delivery for firefighting applications, provided the complete system—including hoses, fittings and nozzles—is correctly selected for the intended use.
