Warranty & Return

Bigger Boyz Toyz offers a 1 or 2 years parts warranty on all products used for domestic use from the date of purchase  (refer the Warranty Information above). For all commercial use, a 3 months parts warranty period applies, unless specified in the item listing. All conditions below are based upon the product being faulty or not performing as described. In the instance where a return is required the purchaser is liable for any shipping cost. Warranties will only be determined by a Bigger Boyz Toyz Technician upon inspection.

Warranties do not cover accidents, misuse, neglect, natural disaster or act of God or other external causes, or damage caused by operating the equipment in a manner that is not described in the instructions.

Warranties do not cover consumable parts/spare parts. Consumable parts are defined as any part that can be used up or worn out during normal use. The example of the consumable parts are; Bars, Chains, Blades, Teeth, Tynes, Brush cutter heads, Brush cutter line, Recoil Pull start, Pawls, Wheels. Tyres, Tubes, Filters, Spark plugs, Inner shafts, Bearings, Belts, Oil, Seals, Wedges, Mulcher screens, Generator brushes, BBQ plates, BBQ grills…

Change of mind

For all purchases sent back due to change of mind, there will be a 20% of purchase price re-stocking fee and items must be unused and in original packaging, postage will also be at the purchasers’ expense and any postage cost incurred in original purchase will not be refunded. If the item was sent with free postage, it will be deemed 20% of purchase price.

In the instance you are required to send an item or part back for replacement please follow our return and refund process.

Misuse or abuse the products

We do not offer a warranty on items that have been damaged due to misuse, abuse or infrequent servicing. No refund or exchange will be granted in such instances. Please check each item description for further details on warranty as some specific components of power equipment are not covered by warranty. Warranties do not cover consumables, blades, bars, chains, recoil starters and lack of putting oil in engines or mixing oil with fuel where required.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Warranty Information

This warranty covers manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance, from the original date of purchase.

Following BBT products used for domestic use: Ride-on Lawn Mower, Garden Tools, Log Splitter, Harvey Woodworking tools, Earthworking Tools, Generators*.
Following BBT products used for domestic use: Air Compressor, Blowers, Chainsaws, Water pumps, Engines
Parts/Spare Parts: E.q. ignition switch, carby, flywheel… 
Consumable Parts/Spare Parts - E.q. Bars, Chains, Blades, Teeth, Tynes, Brush cutter heads, Brush cutter line, Recoil Pull start, Pawls, Wheels. Tyres, Tubes, Filters, Spark plugs, Inner shafts, Bearings, Belts, Oil, Seals, Wedges, Mulcher screens, Generator brushes, BBQ plates, BBQ grills…
Warranty Period: 2 Years or 1000 Engine Hours (whichever comes first)
Warranty Period: 6 months or 500 Engine Hours (whichever comes first)

CLAIMING WARRANTY

To help us understand exactly what’s happening, please take a clear photo of the damaged or faulty part. Also, have a copy of your original invoice or order number handy so we can find your details in a flash.

Send your photos, order number, and a brief description of the issue to our friendly team at bbt@bbta.com.au. This gives us everything we need to verify the fault and find the right solution for you.

Once your email lands in our inbox, we’ll reply to let you know we’ve received it. We act on these claims immediately! We’ll then organize a replacement part and ship it out to you via Australia Post right away.

Most parts are easy to swap out, but if you’re not comfortable fitting it yourself, we’re happy to help!

  • Drop it off: You are more than welcome to bring the item back to our workshop.
  • Ship it back: You can also ship the item to us, and we will professionally fit the part for you.
    (Please note: For these options, all shipping costs are covered by the purchaser.)
RETURNS AND REFUNDS

NOTE: We reserve the right to change product specifications and or models as improvements to technology are developed 

Send an email to bbt@bbta.com.au with your order details and a brief description of the issue. Our Customer Service Team will investigate your claim and determine the best way to move forward.

Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a Return Authorisation and specific shipping instructions. To keep things moving quickly, you must comply with these instructions and return the product within 30 calendar days of the approval date. This ensures we can track your item the moment it hits our warehouse.

As soon as your item arrives, our team will inspect it to verify the defect or error.

If it’s a fault or our mistake: We’ve got you covered! We will cover all postage costs and the original purchase price.

If the item was misused: If the inspection shows the product was used incorrectly or handled without care, the claim will be rejected. In this case, you will need to cover the return shipping costs to have the item sent back to you.

We don’t like to keep you waiting. Once the inspection is complete, we will process your refund or replacement within 4 business days.

Refunds: Sent directly back to your original payment method.

Store Credit: Issued immediately to the account used for the purchase.

Our goal is to resolve every return issue within 4 business days of your item arriving.

SPARE PARTS RETURN POLICY

At Bigger Boyz Toyz, we are committed to providing high-quality spare parts designed to fit our tools and equipment. However, we know there may be instances where you need to return a spare part. Please review our updated Spare Parts Return Policy below for details on how to initiate a return and our terms and conditions:

Return Eligibility:

  • Spare parts are eligible for return within 30 days of the original purchase date.
  • The spare part must be unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging for a return to be processed.

Restocking Fee:

  • A restocking fee of $15 will be applied to each spare part return. This fee helps cover the costs associated with processing and restocking returned items.

Return Process:

  • To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team at tech@bbta.com.au.
  • Provide your order number, the part number of the item you wish to return, and a brief reason for the return.

Return Shipping:

  • The cost of return shipping for spare parts is the customer's responsibility.
  • Please ensure the spare part is securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

Refund Processing:

  • Once we receive and inspect the returned spare part, we will process your refund minus the restocking fee using the original payment method used for the purchase.
  • Please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.

Exclusions:

  • Custom or special-order spare parts are not eligible for return unless they are defective or damaged upon receipt.
  • Spare parts installed, used, or modified in any way are not eligible for return.
  • The measurements and dimensions for Bigger Boyz Toyz spare parts may vary in millimetres but are within factory specifications/limits. We cannot guarantee the perfect fit if you have a brand different from Bigger Boyz Toyz.
