Fitted with the patented X16 Floating Hammer System, The BBT Mulcher provides 30% greater efficiency than standard models. In addition, it comes with a huge 76mm x 76mm direct feed chute, as well as an oversize hopper to fit those bushy branches. BBT 6.5 chipper

Palm fronds, egg cartons cardboard in 4inch strips if longer than 2ft, branches no thicker than 3/8 inch spits them out like confetti great to see .but you have too be carefull too hang on to palm fronds up high because they whip in that quick. Rest go into side chipper which is just as good just don’t force it in , let it do it’s job.the wheels could do with up grade the ones from splitter. The caps holding the wheels are a joke, i drilled and taped 3/8 thread new bolts now they don’t shake loose . Lifted the front up 1 1/2 -2 inch’s now you slide 1ton bag under or big buckets . Ran 2fuel tanks through changed oil . Checked all bolts nothing had come loose. Very happy with product now. Ps put rope under bolt on plastic flap now opening with safety made wooden plunger with pvc cross bar for length for side Shute

6.5 hp chipper.

Good chipper, runs well, easy to clear if jams up.
Don't overload and stick to size and it will do the
job. So far I recommend this product.

Improved model

The second one I have had, so that says it all I guess. I would not have bought another one if I was not happy with the item. The first one was 12yo. I like the changes and improvements, I have only used it once thus far and so far so good!

Second purchase

Had an original and same mulcher since 2012,
one or two repairs but it started second pull nearly every time. Changed oil but never pulled the spark plug!! Bits did vibrate off, but nothing major. Drive output seal/bearing decided to move out, big oil leak!! Refitted with loctite and it is still there. Had an oil leak in the starter side, decided to replace it! Hopefully the new one will last as long!!
