Great Mower

I received my mower to rural Victoria four days after I placed the order. I used it first time this morning and I tell you this thing is a beast. Ploughed thru my yard without even straining the engine. The self propel is fantastic and makes the job easy. I recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new mower.

BBT Self Propelled 21" 196cc 5.6hp Petrol 4 Speed Lawn Mower

Overall I love my new mower from BBT. I don't think the rear mulcher addition is a good one though, because the grass circulates around the self propelled drive belt chute and outside the mower around the air cleaner. However, after adjusting the clutch and self-propel drive speed cables and refitting the self-propel drive belt (which came off on the first mow), I think it's a good mower. The side chute is the better option for mulching though I think. It's well constructed and the motor is quiet. I like it.

Having purchased my BBT Self Propelled 21" 196cc 5.6hp 4 Speed Lawn Mower on 10.10.2024, I wasn't expecting it until the end of the week (on 18.10.2024).
Instead, it arrived via courier on the Tuesday, on my birthday. Having brought it home, I unpacked it to find it was ready to go, apart from a few assembly tasks that were clearly described in the owner's manual. After filling the oil and giving it some petrol, it started more or less first go. I am impressed with how quiet it is, yet how powerful it is when cutting grass. The engine brake and clutch assembly and the throttle and self propel speed shifter controls make it easy to use and very safe. I'm super pleased with my purchase and recommend BBTA to anyone looking for reliable lawn equipment.
