Split 3 logs

Split 3 logs, then lost pressure.

Awkward to operate and poor controls

It works but is very awkward to operate. Two levers and therefore two hands required to operate the cylinder causing the operator to have to stoop uncomfortably. This might be intended to force the operator to stand at the rear of the machine but then increases likelihood of injury by making them lean forward positioning their face closer to the item being split. Also the return park control position function nonsensical because you can only park for as long as you depress the lever. As soon as the lever is released, the cylinder retreats to the home position and so has to travel the full length of the bed for each every workpiece irrespective of it's size. This is a waste of time for short lengths, typically 300mm as the cylinder spends most of it's time commuting to the workpiece instead of splitting.

The unit BBT 7/10T performed very well

The unit BBT 7/10T performed very well, I was surprised how easily it split green and dry hardwood. The size timber split suits what I can cut with my Stihl MS170. The unit feels very robust.

Fantastic tool. I wish I’d got it sooner.

I absolutely love my splitter! I was a bit reluctant to get one as I thought it would be too fast and powerful but this is perfect. We have a wood burner and found a lot of the logs that were delivered were too big.
Now my husband and I fight over who gets to split wood.
It is quite heavy and I don’t want to leave it in the weather so I’ll be getting a small tarp.
